Training Program for Agents of Change in the City of Popayán, Cauca

The Agents of Change Training Program (PFAC) supports 11th-grade students—most of whom come from the city’s most vulnerable neighborhoods—through a six-module process in which they develop leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and ethical thinking, and apply these skills directly by designing their own social entrepreneurship project to address a real problem in their community. This isn’t just another entrepreneurship class: for many of these young people, it’s the first time they’ve felt that their idea might matter to someone else.

Your support funds the final phase of this pilot program, which could serve as a model for other public schools in Cauca.

Your contribution makes it possible to:

  • The entire educational process for a group of 11th-grade students in vulnerable circumstances.
  • Workshops, mentoring, and educational materials to help each student develop and present their own social impact project.
  • A documented and replicable model for other public educational institutions in Popayán.
